Asymmetric Chess

In Asymmetric Chess each side has its own unique army, which, apart from King, does not share any piece types with the opponent. Not even the Pawns. There are three different armies: Humans, Orcs and Elves. The Human army is equal to the army of orthodox Chess. This applets demonstrates the Orkish and Elvish armies.

Pawns can promote when they reach last rank, to units of their own army. All Pawn types have double push, and can be e.p. captured on the skipped square by enemy Pawns as if they had moved there.
